Bravo Produce Inc. Recalls Maradol Papaya for Possible Health Risk

September 10, 2017 - The recall was initiated when it was notified by the FDA, on September 8, 2017, that it had tested positive for Salmonella in one of the Maradol Papaya that wasn’t distributed. Bravo Produce Inc will be taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of its imported products by taking samples from each cargo to a private laboratory authorized by that agency for the determination of Salmonella.

Sabra Dipping Company Issues Voluntary Recall Of Certain Hummus Products Because Of Possible Health Risks

November 19, 2016 - Sabra Dipping Co., LLC is voluntarily recalling certain hummus products made prior to November 8, 2016 due to concerns over Listeria monocytogenes, which was identified at the manufacturing facility but not in tested finished product. The recall includes the products listed in the link below; these were distributed to retail outlets, including food service accounts and supermarkets, in the U.S. and Canada.

ICAPP Recalls Certain Lots of Frozen Strawberries Due to Possible Hepatitis A Contamination

October 30, 2016 - The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) released information on 10/30/16 that frozen strawberries imported from Egypt beginning January 1, 2016, and distributed nationwide, are being recalled by ICAPP due to possible Hepatitis A contamination.

Karoun Dairies, Inc. Issues Nationwide Voluntary Recall of Various Cheeses Because of Possible Health Risk

September 16, 2015 – San Fernando, CA — Today Karoun Dairies, Inc. announced that it is voluntarily recalling a variety of cheeses it distributes due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. To date, no product has tested positive for Listeria but in view of the association with listeriosis cases Karoun Dairies Inc. is initiating a voluntary recall in the interest of protecting public health.

Custom Produce Sales Voluntarily Recalls Fat Boy Brand® and Unlabeled Cucumbers Because of Possible Health Risk

Sept. 11, 2015 - Custom Produce Sales (“Custom Produce”) of Parlier, California is voluntarily recalling all cucumbers sold under the Fat Boy® label starting August 1, 2015 because they may be contaminated with Salmonella and are covered by an ongoing recall. No other Fat Boy® products are covered by this recall. Unlabeled cucumbers packed into a black reusable plastic container (RPC) and were sold in Nevada, as of August 1, 2015 are also covered by this recall.
